Is stress avoidance really possible?  I think not.
Is it possible to have a different kind of relationship with stress?  Yes.  Absolutely!



Stress is a term for the reaction to events, situations, or environments that push the edges (or our perceived edges) of being able to cope.  While we are taught that stress is harmful to our health and that we should do our best to be rid of it, the truth is that stress is unavoidable.  Things happen, health issues come up, all in addition to our epic to-do lists that are already in hand.

  • that redefining how you cope might be the key to shedding this tightrope walk once and for all?

After several years of working with clients one-on-one, I noticed that at some point we were addressing either cortisol (the stress hormone) directly, or adrenal fatigue in general.  It seemed to be connected to everything.  In fact, as I did more research, I found that there are good reasons that stress comes up over and over when people are trying to heal... because it is the PRIMARY cause of many imbalances in the body.  Once one imbalance occurs... it creates others.  And then it feels like our bodies are breaking down.  But it's not really.  Often, when we break the cycle of the underlying issue, the other issues resolve with little or no effort.

Stress As A Catalyst  (now called Stress and Resilience) came at the perfect time last year, holiday time, where stress increases daily. This time of the year can be very intense in both joy and sorrow and knowing that every week we received new exercises was great. It has generated many questions from my friends as I shared my engagement in the course. I especially like the Laughter Yoga week with video support as well as the neuroscience information. There is a lot of information shared by Jill during those 6 weeks and it has proven helpful and fun! Jill is available for questions and makes her answers very informative, prompt and always kind. ABOUT ME: 
I am a holistic intuitive body wisdom translator who is dedicated to empowering women to embrace themselves with compassion, love, and acceptance.  For the past three years I have been working with people of all ages finding a way to health and well-being.  In the last year I've focussed more on women's health and hormone balance in particular.  

My own journey has been one of healing around my heart and my lungs, finding balance in my own hormones, and at the root of it all has been healing my relationship with myself.  I know well the opportunities provided by health crises and hitting the ends of your emotional ropes.
