One of the most important things we can do to support our daughters through the transition of puberty (especially if we're also in our 40's and approaching the transition of menopause ourselves) is to reach out for support. Transition often feels unstable, like we don't have good footing, it feels uncertain, and tumultuous. The beauty of transition is that we have the opportunity to make great changes and to embrace the life we truly desire. January's Body Wisdom Healing Circle call was off-the-hook FANTASTIC. Jill has a way of combining the energy of a meditative presence to the supremely intelligent wisdom of the body's physiological functioning. Her gentle guidance lead me to begin developing a conscious relationship with the minerals such as calcium and magnesium which my body already has a relationship with, and yet has gone so unappreciated by the thinking part of me. It is so great to open up to the spiritual nature of these processes, which even enables the thinking to take place! I can see how developing this kind of reverent presence to inner physiological wisdom allows for a yet even deeper wholistic approach to wellness. Sacred biology, is what comes to mind. ~Jordan
