Virtual Retreats :: Coming Soon

Retreat is a very old practice of renewal and restoration.  It provides deep clarity and robust inner knowing through cultivating our relationship with our own Wild Wisdom Keeper.  I believe this same part of us tends to our deepest selves, nourishing and nurturing with great patience our ability to express our essential nature.

Her gesture, or way of being, is soft, gentle, slow, and patient.  She is willing to wait for us to come to her, to begin to ask questions, to request her wisdom.

It is time.

"Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing.  Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species.  Though the gifts of the wildish nature come to us at birth, society's attempt to "civilize" us into rigid roles has plundered this treasure, and muffled the deep, life-giving messages of our own souls.  Without Wild Woman we become over-domesticated, fearful, uncreative, trapped." ~ Clarisa Pinkola Estes

The solution to Wild Woman's predicament, is to get to know her.  We do this when we are safe and held.  We begin to know her one step at a time, like any relationship, but we must create the space and time to nurture this connection.  She is the source of our Body Wisdom, of our intuition, she is intimate with our very soul.

IMAGINE what would it be like to take the time and space you desire,

to slow down,
listen to the breeze,
feel in flow like the stream,
to feel yourself fleshing out again,
becoming full and reconnected to Wild Woman, Inner Wisdom, and Creativity

What a virtual retreat would look like:

  • It would mean really taking time for yourself... either by calling in absent to work on a Friday or possibly setting aside a weekend day (to be determined as this offering blossoms into being)
  • Short daily preparation activities + invitation to gather items (5-15 minute tasks) would begin on a Monday and find themselves daily to your inbox, culminating with the retreat time on Friday or a Weekend
  • Retreat day would consist of a virtual meeting in the morning (maybe on Google Hangouts or Spreecast) to set the collective awareness and resonance, then going to a previously determined spot for several hours (3 or 4), and gathering online afterward to close the retreat and share experiences and understandings.
  • Cost will be approximately $30-$50, depending on details and the possibility of sending out a Retreat Gift Package beforehand.

The Virtual Retreat is designed for you if you:

  • feel depleted by the constant demands of taking care of others (kids, aging parents, your job/co-workers, volunteering at church/school/community organizations) and know that restorative time for yourself is important
  • want to hear what your body and soul have to tell you, but it's really easy to keep putting it off
  • desire to go on a week-long retreat but either time or money are keeping you from saying YES
  • love the idea of getting away but also feel that you want to be supported in claiming your time alone
  • wish you had enough energy to plan your own rejuvenation time... but it never really happens

If the idea of a retreat sounds divine, enter your email address and I'll let you know the dates and themes as they happen!
